Killer Coach: Lifetime Movie Synopsis

Samantha is not only drop-dead gorgeous, she is a talented and driven swimmer who is headed to Olympic trials. Focused and determined, life for Samantha gets tougher when her old swimming coach leaves and a new one comes on board. The new coach is none other than Catherine Robbins, one of the best swimming coaches around but instead of proving to be a good influence on Samantha, she pushes Samantha almost over the edge.

Now, Samantha’s mother, Gina, wants to bring in someone else who can ease the pain but also help Samantha win. Bryce, the new assistant coach, seems perfect for the job. He is handsome, skillful, and has captured the attention of some of Samantha’s biggest swimming rivals.

But, it looks like Coach Bryce has some other lessons in mind for Samantha, and it isn’t long before the coach-student relationship crosses the line. After an intense one night stand, it’s obvious to Samantha’s mother that something has changed. But, Samantha’s not letting on anything about her secret sexual affair with Coach Bryce. While trying to keep the sex affair secret, Samantha’s boyfriend knows that something or someone has come between them, and he suspects that it’s Coach Bryce.

Now, Samantha is losing focus on her swimming as things with Coach Bryce take a serious turn. For Samantha, it was something that never should have happened, and she desperately tries to distance herself before everyone finds out. What she doesn’t know is that Bryce doesn’t like being ignored, and has no plans on backing down.

Then, all sorts of strange things begin happening. Samantha’s boyfriend is brutally attacked by an unknown assailant, and someone is watching and following Samantha’s every move. As Samantha and her mother’s life become more and more in danger, it’s time for Samantha to tell the truth about Coach Bryce before they both end up dead.

Though, this one does not claim to be a true story, it certainly reflects the growing problem of inappropriate relationships that have developed between many teachers and their students. Some of the real stories below highlight this issue.
